Inspired by the colors and landscapes of Cape Town, South Africa, Rozae Nichols translated original printed motifs of Ndebele village houses, African tribal body art and oversize protea flowers onto black silk crepe de chine separates and dresses for a bold graphic impact. While the geometric floral prints were a clear interpretation of her theme, Nichols’ more subdued and sporty separates — such as striped trousers and a laser-cut Neoprene jacket — had a more wearable appeal.
