Gypsy and Russian influences intermingled to sexy-folkloric effect in Dsquared2’s pre-fall collection. Dean and Dan Caten paired blanketlike knitted fabric with black leather on a range of fringed pieces, including a high-waisted skirt with a side slit worn with a wool turtleneck, while Matryoshka-inspired flowers in vivid colors decorated an organza minidress with a bohemian feel.

The designers also offered a fresh take on the tuxedo, which came in a cool wool-and-silk version with a fitted jacket and a new style of cropped, drop-crotch pants.
