It’s rare to see the sci-fi era of the Sixties, known for its Courrèges curves and modular shapes, interpreted in a whimsical and womanly way. Sofia Sizzi handled the retro motif with rich color — purple, teal and yellow — and playful patterns, such as a bonded hourglass shape on a color-blocked dress. Hemlines were longer than the classic Mod mini, and dresses, such as a neat zip-up color-blocked style in a dense bonded jersey, had accentuated waistlines, giving the look a fresh femininity.
