Led by Jane Hayward, Mantù’s design team imagined the stylistic journey of a woman moving through past decades. Coats are the brand’s specialty, and one could see subtle nods to the Sixties in one fitted swing number, as well as Fifties-style saddle stitching, three-quarter-length sleeves and fox fur stoles in others. Elsewhere, impressive textural plays — seen on a mixed-media wool and nylon quilted coat — blended utility and style, while an elegant black dress with pink and black tweed-bouclé details evoked an elegance that transcended any time period.
