Rather than start an all-new story, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren designed their pre-fall collection to carry on the sweetly nostalgic mood of their spring 2015 offerings. Striking a balance between masculine and feminine, the lineup mixes classic tailoring and ladylike attire with a few more daring proportions.
The designers used a houndstooth motif for a stiff, asymmetric ruffled dress in nylon satin, and morphed a tweed pattern into a colorful print for silk blouses. In another look, bold patchwork adorned the front of a dress. The flower theme that bloomed last season was reworked with a slightly more naive Seventies take, appearing as acid-yellow appliqués on black tops and dresses.
