Francesco Scognamiglio’s pre-fall collection was rooted in sensual femininity. The range of traffic-stopping dresses included an ankle-length asymmetric chiffon style embellished with ruffles and cutouts and a clean-cut mini with a bodice done with lace inserts and microstuds. Daywear was also an opportunity for Scognamiglio to enhance a woman’s curves in a more understated way. A ribbed sweater was worn with a high-waisted felt wool pencil skirt with a front slit that closed with maxi metallic buttons, and a ruffled peplum top was worn with matching culottes.
