Monique Lhuillier infused her ethereal collection with a feeling of ease. “It was all about this elegant, feminine mood with a bohemian twist,” Lhuillier said. “She’s a little more relaxed.” Though daywear featured sculptural separates and dresses in textured and metallic jacquards — many of which could be mixed and matched — most of her gowns came in flowing, languid silhouettes done in vintage-inspired floral prints and embellished lace, ladylike yet still youthful. One evening series featured a colorful bird print on white. A standout here: an off-the-shoulder peplum blouse and flared trousers, the perfect choice for a wear-now summer soiree, the kind so many of Lhuillier’s chic women attend.
