Raquel Allegra’s pre-fall collection showcased new prints and dyeing techniques, including a soft, painterly brush stroke that offered a more subtle take on her classic tie-dye styles. The easy, bohemian lineup also introduced more feminine silhouettes than seasons past, such as silk and chiffon gypsy blouses, slipdresses and long-sleeved maxidresses with ruffled accents. Allegra’s cashmere sweaters and T-shirts worked nicely with her relaxed linen suits. A few looks also featured a tribal print that riffed on dashikis.
