Color is being employed as key uplifting tool across the pre-fall 2021 collections, including at Mantù, whose polished, everyday style got a tad edgier and more sophisticated.

Last spring, the label – controlled by Italian luxury manufacturing company Castor – kicked off a new aesthetic path, which was continued for pre-fall. Here were approachable constructions, charming color combinations and a rich selection of precious materials.

Putting the focus on tactility, the brand introduced a pleated fabric used for versatile tops tucked into coordinated skirts, but also for a pretty dress enriched with knots that enable tweaks to the silhouette.

The sartorial spirit of unfussy blazers and coats, worked in lilac and sky blue, was counterbalanced by the chic and urban vibe of padded outwear styles done in a shiny cotton with a leather-like look – a feminine take on the puffer.

Drawstrings at the waistline seemed a gesture to dress many different body types.
