The vivid aesthetic of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood served as the main inspiration for Just Cavalli’s young and fun resort collection. Roberto Cavalli imagined those artists living a serene life in their houses in the bucolic English countryside, translating that picturesque scene into graphic floral patterns and loose, relaxed silhouettes. There was a lingerielike chiffon top matched with coordinated fluid pants, and a patchwork petticoat-inspired dress in silk chiffon and jacquard with cotton fishnet inserts.

Celebrating one of the Pre-Raphaelites’ favorite animals, Cavalli embellished a fitted minidress and a summery caftan with prints of swans, which were considered symbols of purity.
