Palm Springs gave Monique Lhuillier an oasis of color and architectural inspiration for resort. She tempered graphic prints, textural plays and a range of bold colors with easy shapes. A new focus on separates yielded embellished T-shirts, lace jackets, capes and head-to-toe prints, yet Lhuillier worked the cocktail party circuit, too. There were beautiful blue strapless cocktail dresses, dramatic gowns and a beaded jumpsuit for a little evening edge.
