Buoyed by the accolades for her fall collection, in which Mary Katrantzou swapped her signature prints for crafting patterns from lace, embroidery and embellishment, the designer continued in that vein for resort. Taking her cues from the alphabet, Katrantzou’s collection was a riot of laces, embroidery and flocking that riffed on letters. Looks ran from a diaphanous purple tulle pencil skirt and cardigan pairing, the outfit adorned with a flocked pattern of glittery green letters, to a guipure lace dress in purple and orange, worked in patterns of letters along with whales, rabbits and leaves.

Katrantzou also mixed in more muted designs, such as a white shell top and pink shorts done in a brocade embossed with a textured pattern of graphic letters. And new for resort: a collection of chunky acrylic clutch bags, fashioned in the letters of her name.
