Karen Walker’s playful resort collection riffed on nautical motifs — rope straps, oversize eyelets, gold buttons and anchor prints — a cue she took from the classic television series “The Love Boat,” which ran throughout the Seventies and Eighties. She also included large daisy prints on red-and-blue silk crepe de chine separates, which gave the lineup an easy, feminine feel, as well as plenty of denim and chambray, a growing category for the brand. The standout look in the latter grouping was a light blue sleeveless jumpsuit with frayed hems.
