Piazza Sempione’s resort collection conveyed two distinct moods. The first grouping, full of sporty separates and ponchos, riffed on architecture via geometric chiaroscuro patterns in blue and white. A subtle nautical theme also reverberated throughout the looks, some finished with gold eyelet hardware, handkerchief hems and anorak tie detailing.

 

The second set focused more on relaxed loungewear, though the lineup also included a few floral-printed cocktail dresses in fil coupé with a 3-D effect. Soft knits in cream, coral and pastel yellow found their match in leather jackets and cotton-blend trenchcoats, and overall, the vast collection felt crisp and polished.
