For his Theia resort collection, Don O’Neill was inspired by Anni Albers, the American textile artist and former Bauhaus master. He drew from Albers’ use of lines — most notably on a floral-print silk gazar gown featuring subtle diagonal lines, which added a sense of texture to the look — as well as her black-and-white mosaics and incorporation of metallic threads. A woven mesh crop top and striped ball skirt proved a modern evening option, and elsewhere, a minimalist collared dress had a chic Seventies feel.
