Fifteen dresses in black or white — that pretty much sums up Veronique Branquinho’s resort lineup. “I wanted to uncomplicate things,” she said. And yet uncomplicated did not mean simple as Branquinho worked the beautiful maxi frocks with subtle embroideries, delicate laces and generous pleats. “It just felt right, to do the long silhouette — there is more room for details,” she explained.

 

As for the entire range, the designer covered ample territory, including a a polo style, a pleated romper and a long-sleeve peasant. “They all feel special, don’t they?” she said.
