“I didn’t want to do only dresses, dresses, dresses for summer,” said Lorenzo Serafini of his Philosophy resort collection, which was largely based on Brigitte Bardot in the Sixties, and in the South of France. Serafini put some modern, swinging separates in the mix — ruffle cropped tops and skinny cropped pants, a leather apron romper and nostalgic military jackets. But dresses, dresses, dresses are where his bread is buttered, so there were plenty of those too, mostly of the enchanting bohemian variety. They came in tiered lace and micro florals, as well as striped Japanese cotton.

 

Serafini also launched his first bag for the label, a vintage-inspired pouch that he called a “festival” bag.
