Claire Pettibone indulged in some California dreamin’ for her Romantique collection this season. The lineup was small yet cohesive, with each look named after a town, region or neighborhood in the Golden State. The “Coachella” dress was a bohemian-inspired, crochet lace sheath with bell sleeves and a tassel back. Other noteworthy looks included the Olvera, a long slipdress demonstrating Spanish flair via colorful fiesta flowers on its delicate lace skirt, and the Bel-Air, a glitzy mermaid gown. Despite their disparate silhouettes, all of the dresses displayed Pettibone’s signature vintage-inspired hand.
