As she spent time in Paris after the November terrorist attacks, Romona Keveza felt “inspired by the spirit and strength of Parisians,” the designer said during her intimate presentation of her two bridal lines. Reflecting that inspiration, her Legends by Romona Keveza collection paid homage to “La Vie en Rose,” which the designer interprets as a state of being. The tight line-up was filled with romantic blush-toned gowns in delicate lace, the looks ranging from a demure, illusion deep V-neckline with a fluted skirt to an off-the-shoulder voluminous princess gown.

 

Meanwhile, the Romona Keveza Collection was a study in contrasts, juxtaposing the streamlined with the ornate. The first half of it consisted of modern, minimalistic silhouettes with asymmetrical necklines and clean shapes, all in rich and luxurious fabrics. They were followed by the real showstoppers: a procession of regal, over-the-top gowns in whimsical floral prints, which finished the presentation with a flourish.
