For spring, Tadashi Shoji’s singular vision — the dress — delivered something for everyone, all while paying homage to the tulip. Nude chiffon and black-and-white lace was draped, layered and pleated over embroidered and beaded fabrics on looks that ran the gamut from Seventies-inspired off-the-shoulder numbers to Eighties-ish poof-sleeve cocktail dresses to the show opener: a frock with a tiered, inverted bell skirt that quite literally resembled a tulip.
