Designers Hiroyuki Horihata and Makiko Sekiguchi decided to make the most of their new store just off Omotesando Ave. and used it to set their runway show featuring a relaxed but elegant lineup of their signature wrap dresses and coats. In keeping with past seasons, they provided another modern and fresh take on the kimono. The collection had a light and airy feel to it. Stripes and delicate patterns resembling flower petals complemented a seasonally appropriate palette of sage, slate blue, lemon and sea foam green. Shoes that looked like their toes were dipped in paint completed the look and provided another dash of color.
