For spring, Takashi Mori showed a collection of slim shorts and trousers in cropped and ankle lengths, along with more relaxed jackets and cardigans worn over thin t-shirts. While most pieces were rendered in solid black, white, grey, beige, red and coral fabrics, the designer created the illusion of geometric prints by experimenting with texture. Suits and tuxedos looked cool and modern in high-tech materials like a windbreaker nylon and a silk-like fabric that shimmered slightly under the lights. And cropped pants and a zip-up hoodie in shiny jersey with bolts and wrenches knit into the knees and back particularly stood out.
