For his debut show during Japan Fashion Week, Yasutoshi Ezumi created a series of long and flowing knit vests, cardigans and layered skirts in black, beige and slate blue silk. The collection was sleek and sophisticated, with clean lines and simple shapes. Woven pieces like oversized shirt dresses, cigarette pants and mini skirts were accented by appliqued strips of open knit black yarn, while knit tops were dressed up with silky woven collars and lapels. While the palette was somber, a muted botanical print in blue and pink on ivory hinted at spring.
