Arthur Arbesser presented his collection in an old garage in central Milan. Each model expressed a different facet of the designer’s lineup. His college girl wore a knitted nylon plissé skirt with matching polo shirt and vest. Her girly mood contrasted with the masculine, street look of his “urban warrior” — a girl in cuffed cotton pants and shirt layered over a T-shirt.

Despite its varied references, the collection was cohesive, thanks to Arbesser’s recognizable edgy touch, which injected a cool factor into clothes with a contemporary feel.
