A botanical theme took center stage in Maurizio Pecoraro’s pretty spring collection.

 

Inspired by architect Josef Frank’s furniture decorated with images that looked like antique prints of herbs, the designer embellished a range of chic, feminine pieces with embroideries of flowers and bees and organza leaves.

 

These included a coat worn over a sheer organza shirt and a silk skirt in a graphic motif, as well as a cotton maxiskirt worn with an organza shirt with front pockets, which offered a new, sophisticated take on the utilitarian look.
