Haunted by the tragic sinking of a ferry off the coast of South Korea in April, Lie Sang Bong created an ethereal collection to honor the children who were lost.

“It’s from heartache that we are able to find hope and joy,” he said backstage.

The space was designed with glass panels encasing prints from past seasons and a backdrop of moving butterflies in bold, bright colors that faded to white. His collection included tranquil prints in jacquards, linens and silk organzas, on outerwear, peplum blouses and trousers — all of which made for a frothy affair.
