Punks aren’t exactly synonymous with beach life, but 99%IS- designer Bajowoo transported his — in all their leather-clad, studded and safety-pinned glory — to a tropical destination.
Black palm trees dotted the runway featuring a backdrop image of a sandy paradise. The clothes targeted men who love edgy, embellished streetwear such as motorcycle jackets, biker pants and a long, blue coat with leather sleeves. Palm-tree prints (think Hawaiian shirts) figured prominently on jackets, pants and shorts. The overall effect was fresh and fun — words not often associated with the punk movement.
