Ermanno Scervino’s spring collection exuded bare femininity, sometimes delicate and romantic, sometimes stronger and more decisive.

He sent out an array of dresses — from asymmetric mini styles to plissé slip versions — exquisitely crafted from different kinds of lace, Chantilly and macramé among them. Their sensual look contrasted with the sporty attitude of a pair of soft leather overalls and a pilot-inspired jumpsuit, which felt a tad out of place.

More convincing were Scervino’s tailored looks, which included sharply cut power coats and a double-breasted elongated vest worn over mini shorts and a chic wrap top with a sculptural-knot detail.
