In line with the strategy mapped out by new chief executive officer Francesco Pesci, Peuterey is expanding its product range in search of global growth. Contrasting with its presentation venue — Milan’s stunning frescoed 15th-century Casa degli Atellani, where Leonardo da Vinci resided as he created “The Last Supper” — the spring collection was technologically advanced yet also fun and contemporary.

 

The focus was on three new jackets: the waxed, waterproof and color-blocked cotton Montgomery; the shirt-cum-safari jacket called Talitha; and a functional, lightweight unisex jacket conceived to be worn across all seasons. Paired with flared jeans, striped knits and trapeze shirts, they assumed a Seventies vibe.
