A little bit of punk and a little bit of club kid done in a wearable way proved to be a successful formula at McQ Alexander McQueen for spring. Casual classics — a simple white T-shirt and white denim midiskirt — were given an edge with removable chain details, as was a tailored black suit with a long, lean silhouette and wide leg.

Bolder statements were made on the clubbier side of the spectrum: A green stretch knit top and skirt featured all-over cutouts and a silver-foil-embossed leather skinny trouser, jacket and minidress screamed rebellion and irreverence — yet not aggressively so. Ultimately, McQ is about an everyday wardrobe, so the lineup also included feminine, easy-to-wear dresses, such as one sheer black style with a white lace hem.
