A timeless fashion staple — the classic white cotton poplin shirt — was the protagonist of Co|Te’s spring collection. Elongated, embroidered and enriched by utility pockets, it was paired with a plissé apron in one version and got a hyperfeminine makeover featuring a lacelike effect using a traditional Italian artisanal technique in another. A mannish striped shirting fabric was also crafted into a bias-cut long skirt enriched by ruffles. Adding a hint of color to the concise, all-white-everything collection, creative directors Francesco Ferrari and Tomaso Anfossi printed a graphic floral pattern on wide-leg pants with a Nineties vibe and on a pleated skirt that had a fresh, girly feel.
