Kiton is evolving its women’s collection with sophisticated pieces that have the same aesthetic as the brand’s men’s wear division, such as perfect tailoring, understated luxury and practical yet fashionable details as well as feminine touches.

For spring, a supersized bow embellished a bespoke shirt with cutout shoulders; a checkered pattern in pastel colors softened a tailored silk jacket; motifs derived from men’s ties decorated silk shorts. “We don’t sell an image but a product,” said women’s creative director Maria Giovanna Paone. The Italian company is seeking to grow the brand’s women’s wear business and this collection is a step in the right direction.
