With a style best described as essential and simple, Lucio Vanotti’s modern take on the minimalistic aesthetic was fresh and interesting. Relaxed and comfortable versions of classic staples, such as the white cotton shirt, the trenchcoat and the bomber, were slightly oversized, but never too exaggerated. Men’s tailoring influenced the lineup — soft constructions informed the loose-fit suits, including a pajamalike deconstructed cotton style worked in a summery striped pattern. Coming in breezy tones of green and blue, this motif, a switch from the rigorous color palette of white and black, also appeared on a feminine shirt matched with an asymmetric skirt. A touch of eccentricity was introduced via a black lacquered shirtdress crafted from a glossy coated fabric.
