Riko Manchit Au, a Chinese-born designer who was chosen by Giorgio Armani to show at his Armani Theater, delivered a collection rooted in a minimalistic aesthetic. For spring, she focused on shimmery fabrics that she used for deconstructed suits, masculine shirts, as well as pants embellished with front slits and metallic detailing. Au played with asymmetric silhouettes and introduced transparency via see-through silk tops layered over leather bralettes, as well as the organza sleeves on a cropped boxy shirt. The overall look was a tad too intricate and felt  a bit uncomfortable, giving a stiff feel to the lineup.
