“Glitter glam” is how the press notes summed up the M Missoni spring collection: a graphic, metallic, Seventies-themed affair with plenty of retro allure. In a funky palette of brown, pink, orange, yellow and turquoise, the lineup’s fluid, airy knitwear had Lurex to spare, as the shiny yarns were woven throughout allover geometric, zig-zag and chevron motifs. Silhouettes skewed feminine, invoking the bohemia of yore via wide-legged jumpsuits, ruffled bib dresses and peasant blouses paired with pleated maxiskirts. The plethora of knits were broken up by a few silk looks, with a color-blocked sleeveless mididress as the highlight.
