Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig served up a mix of froth and sexy modernity in the latest lineup for their sister label, Marchesa Notte, offering their girl a breadth of silhouettes for spring. “We always like to mirror what we’re doing in [our couture line] so that the collections play off of each other a little bit,” noted Craig. It was easy to see the similarities, particularly in a pair of blush-toned, sheer tulle gowns decorated with delicate 3-D flower petal appliqués, which echoed a few styles on the Marchesa runway earlier this month.

Floral, bird and butterfly motifs played upon the collection’s ongoing garden themes, underscoring the label’s romantic aesthetic. A multitude of styles — cutaway, strapless, tea length and tiered and floor-length gowns were embellished with rich metallic and neon embroideries, while intricate beading accentuated cinched waists. Elsewhere, a chartreuse halter-neck gown featured side and back cutouts for a touch of sensuality, and a fuchsia bustier minidress was the perfect party look for getting up to no good.
