Maurizio Pecoraro embraced a playful attitude for spring. Traditional board games served as inspiration for an array of patterns and applications, which injected a graphic, joyful twist into the lineup. Chess pieces were printed on an airy blouse matched with coordinated short pants, as well as on a fluid maxi tunic dress. A feminine slipdress layered over a sheath style was splashed with a domino pattern, which also appeared on a silk top worn with matching flared pants. Tromp-l’oeil effects introduced a touch of irony. For example, a breezy off-the-shoulder floor-length dress was embellished with a military medal, which was also all-over printed on the frock, while T-shirts were worn with long necklaces, inspiring the garments’ printed motifs.

A range of solid pieces, including a chic column dress worked in a bold fuchsia tone and a lovely white plumetis frock trimmed with tiny tassels, balanced the eccentric mood of the patterns.
