Takeshi Kitazawa’s gender-fluid spring collection featured sharp tailoring, lush materials and unique detailing. The shapes, however, were classic and turned out mostly in timeless black and white.
Kitazawa gave slim pantsuits and white shirts an update with long fringe, allover grommets, silver sequins and satin tuxedo stripes. A long blazer in a sapphire blue provided a moment of contrast as the only piece of color, and a slinky dress with a deep V neckline combined subtle sex appeal with men’s wear-inspired styling.
The collection was rounded out by a boned and quilted bustier top and a bra that dripped with pearl-like beads in random lengths.
