Mouret has tapped French artist Leyman Lahcine to create a limited-edition series of hand-drawn perfume bottles.
Mouret had relocated there two years ago, but is shifting the attention to e-commerce and wholesale, which has been robust.
Guests at the zodiac-themed cocktail and dinner included Barry Diller, Joan Collins, Alice Temperley, Erin O’Connor, Ashley Hicks and Paloma Faith.
“It’s not a retrospective,” said the designer, whose book will be published by Rizzoli on Nov. 6.
FLOTUS’ choice of pale yellow was meant to pay homage to Queen Elizabeth II, who is said to also favor the color, stylist Herve Pierre said.
