Alexa Tietjen is a writer and video producer specializing in prestige beauty and influencers. She graduated from Boston College in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and, against all odds, landed a job at writing about popular music. She joined WWD’s Eye desk in 2016 and switched to the beauty beat in 2018. You can usually (always) find her at her desk, but if not, she is probably memorizing Bretman Rock’s YouTube page, tweeting about Rihanna or checking her horoscope.
